Getting ready for Chrismas

In training for Christmas

The team at Hamper Me are now in training for the Christmas rush.  With heaps of corporate orders keeping us busy, our decorators are practising their bows and testing their colour co-ordination skills. We’re making lists and checking them twice to make sure we have enough stock to cover our orders over this busy period.

Our shelves are bursting with all the goodies we look forward to at Christmas without the associated guilt, infusing our workspace with the delicious scents of chocolate, cinnamon and ginger.  Some of the products we haven’t seen since this time last year, like Christmas puddings and fruit cakes. I can personally recommend the Chocfusions chocolate and macadamia dessert pudding. I always keep one in the pantry for unexpected visitors.  And it looks so impressive when accompanied by fresh berries and cream or ice-cream.

Very soon, the workroom will be littered with gold and silver sparkly ribbons, reindeer-patterned wrap, and the bright green and red of holly, the by-products of creating a festive look for every hand-decorated hamper.  The snip snip sound of multiple scissors cutting and trimming to make our bows perfect, will compete with the scream of the packing tape dispensers from the packing room. Hundreds of colourful gift boxes are already stacked on top of each other, just waiting to be filled with a host of gourmet treats.

November is the best time to shop for Christmas Gifts before the mad rush begins in December. So take a look around our revamped website and let Hamper Me do the hard work for you.  The Christmas section has lots of great ideas for you to choose from.  And having a hamper delivered directly to the recipient, means they can place the gift under their tree to be opened and enjoyed by everyone on Christmas Day.

As I’m writing this there’s only six weeks left til Christmas Day. Better get my skates on. So much to do and so little time but I love the hustle and bustle of it all.
