TIPS for making your delivery go smoothly:

  • Double check the SHIP TO address, most deliveries that do go wrong have some sort of error in the receiver address.

  • Place your order by the Cut Off times above for same day dispatch.

  • Consider saying YES to Authority to Leave, that way your gift will be waiting at the door when the receiver arrives home.

  • Add a ‘brief’ delivery instruction on where to leave the hamper at the delivery address, & remember in most cases the driver may not read these until he is at the address delivering the parcel.

  • Say NO to Authority to Leave if there is no where safe to leave your parcel. It will be taken to the nearest Post Office for collection, a calling card will be left.

  • Hospital deliveries require a Room and Ward if possible.

  • If sending to a hospital, make sure the patient is still there until 5pm on the day of delivery.

  • Maternity Hospitals send mothers and babies home quickly so please consider sending baby hampers to the recipient’s home…its one less thing for Mums and Dads to carry with a new baby.


OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION about our gift hamper deliveries:

  • It is important that your gift hamper reaches its destination in the best possible condition during the hotter months in Australia. All individual hampers are delivered using an express service, which in the majority of cases will be delivered to metropolitan areas of capital cities the next business day, during business hours - up until 5pm.

  • We pack our hampers carefully with bubble wrap and foam and want them to arrive in the best possible condition. Very occasionally there are breakages which we will attend to on an individual basis.  Email us with a picture or give us a call and we will help you out.  These days there is a lot less human handling of the parcels due to automated sorting equipment used by freight companies so breakages are rare, but the most likely cause is mishandling by the delivery driver.

  • For multiple orders of four (4) or more hampers to the same address, please contact us to discuss the most cost efficient delivery method.

  • We can send a single hamper to a PO box with Startrack, who are owned by Australia Post.

  • We do not deliver on weekends or public holidays. Orders received on a weekend are dispatched Mondays.

  • Why we charge for delivery?  There is not such thing as free delivery, in fact it is a significant cost which is why we don’t believe it should be hidden in the hamper price.  We aim to charge a reasonable and fair rate for a premium service and have tried to make it simple to understand. There are savings and efficiencies in sending multiple hampers to a single address and we pass these on to the customer.  Please call us for a price on bulk deliveries.

  • Tracking the Parcel - when we create the shipping consignments our system will send you an automated despatch email that will contain the tracking information.  You can use this tracking number and link to the couriers website to check the parcel is delivered on the required day, it may be delivered up until 5pm.

  • What if there is no one home?  If it is safe, say YES to Authority to Leave in the checkout process and the parcel will be left at the premises, or consider sending it to a work address.

  • Apartment Deliveries – sometimes these deliveries are automatically carded as drivers do not necessarily get access to secure apartment buildings so they will leave a calling card in the mailbox for post office collection.

  • Regional Locations - in some remote rural areas there is no delivery service to the door.  It may only be taken as far as the local post office in the nearest town.  This will most likely be the case if the receiver does not get their normal mail to the door.

  • Required Delivery Date - We do spend time daily analysing the locations of our deliveries and always send them with the best intentions for them to arrive on the exact day that you have requested.  Sometimes things go wrong and it doesn't work out the way we intended. We are disappointed when this happens and we will always do our best to investigate the problem and follow up with our couriers and customers as required.

  • Any reference to "next business day delivery service" and "same business day delivery service" applies to CBD & Metropolitan areas throughout Australia, from Monday-Friday, to orders received which meet our deadlines above, and is exempt during public holidays, weekends & our peak season such as Christmas as deliveries take longer at this time of year.
  • If you are sending your gift to anywhere outside of a Metropolitan area, and the town is not in a built up area your gift may take longer to arrive (anywhere up to 2-3 business days & sometimes more during peak times). All gifts must be signed for by someone at the receiving end. If you are unsure someone will be home an authority to leave bar code will be attached to your gift, and your gift left unattended at the recipient's address. If you do not wish to have your gift left unattended, please use an alternate day time address where a recipient will be able to sign for the gift. Please be aware that if you have NOT given Authority to Leave and the receiver is NOT at home a calling card will be left for them to collect from the local Post Office or Depot.  Hamper Me may override the Authority to Leave clause of the order when delivery to an apartment or unit address is not considered to be safe. Re-delivery is only available upon request and further fees are applicable.
  • Hamper Me is not responsible for making arrangements for your recipient to be home at time of delivery, and even though we request contact phone numbers for the recipient, the courier, or Hamper Me will not phone the recipient to pre-arrange an agreed delivery time.
  • Please ensure all address details are correct & the recipients' landline and or mobile phone number is supplied. Incorrectly addressed items which require re-direction will incur a further fee. Any gift which is required to be stopped in transit and returned to Hamper Me for any reason will incur further delivery & admin fees.
  • Hamper Me advises although we use highly reputable carriers to deliver our products, from time to time delays are experienced for reasons which are totally out of our control. We cannot 100% guarantee any delivery according to the quoted delivery schedule, and cannot be responsible for unforeseen circumstances, such as weather and traffic conditions, theft or damage, or delays by our courier contractors. Sometimes gifts may be delayed and delivered later than pre-determined time. Failure to deliver on time is not a valid reason for refund or for cancelation of an order.

  • Hamper Me delivers gifts Australia Wide through the services of Startrack. All gifts ordered for this delivery service are safely packaged into a cardboard outer and delivered by Startrack courier drivers who are contracted for their service. Days we deliver for this service are Monday-Friday during business hours only. No weekend deliveries are available for this service. Our delivery service works business day to business day. Orders received on the weekend are dispatched on the following Monday. All orders are dispatched from Brisbane by courier overnight to Metropolitan areas throughout Australia. For deliveries to Regional & Remote areas please allow up to 3 to 4 business days extra.


  • Hamper Me does offer same day delivery in Brisbane, restrictions do apply. Please phone us on 07 3374 2095 to check pricing for the particular suburb. This service does not include Gold or Sunshine Coasts, Toowoomba. It is a door to door service and can be more expensive, it also has a limited service area in Brisbane. Hamper Me can only guarantee the same day service once the booking has been accepted by the courier, and will not be held liable if delivery takes more than one working day.

  • Specific dates that you would like the gift to be delivered can mostly be accommodated, however please choose appropriate freight option and delivery. We try to deliver your gift on the day you request however sometimes things happen that are beyond our control. We rely on our couriers to provide prompt delivery however in some circumstances delays may occur. Failure to delivery on a preferred delivery date is not a valid reason for refund or cancelation of an order.


  • All bulk orders for corporate or private individuals are required to contact Hamper Me by phone on 1300 085 949 or email to and ask for a quote on delivery fees. Order quantities of 10+ require a production time of at least 5 working days. All bulk orders require a deposit on confirmation of order.


  • Sorry, there is no weekend or Public Holiday delivery anywhere in Australia.


  • At this time Hamper Me can deliver gift hampers to New Zealand - please contact us to confirm pricing.


  • Should you be concerned that your gift has not arrived at the scheduled delivery time, please contact us & we will make every effort to track your gift. Once a gift leaves our office it is in the hands of reputable national couriers, and sometimes delays in delivery occur. Hamper Me advises although we use highly reputable carriers to deliver our products, from time to time delays are experienced for reasons which are totally out of our control. We cannot guarantee unforeseen circumstances, such as weather and traffic conditions, theft or damage. Sometimes your gift may be delayed and delivered later than pre-determined time. These circumstances are out of our control and we do not accept responsibility for these unforeseen circumstances and failure to deliver on time is not a valid reason for refund of delivery or for cancelation of an order.
  • Hamper Me does not take responsibility for Hampers left at addresses where the customer has given "Authority to Leave" the parcel at the address. Couriers are to leave the parcel only if they consider it is safe to do so.  Hamper Me recommends that you do not give "Authority to Leave" on hampers being delivered to units, townhouses or apartment blocks with shared entrances.


  • Hamper Me is more than happy to cancel any order placed and issue a full refund with 48 hours notice prior to delivery.
  • Refunds or cancelations of orders are at the owner's discretion and you must have a valid reason - Hamper Me will not refund if you simply change your mind about your purchase.
  • In the unlikely event that you feel we have not provided a service, or that you feel that there are discrepancies in your order in any way, we will investigate the circumstance and a refund may be issued duly.
  • Hamper Me advises although we use highly reputable carriers to deliver our products, from time to time delays are experienced for reasons which are totally out of our control. We cannot guarantee unforeseen circumstances, such as weather and traffic conditions, delays by our couriers, theft or damage. Sometimes your gift may be delayed and delivered later than pre-determined time. These circumstances are out of our control and failure to deliver on time is not a valid reason for refund of delivery or for cancelation of an order.
  • Hamper Me will not replace or refund if your hamper disappears or is stolen from the delivery address where you have given "Authority to Leave" on the order.
  • Hamper Me advises that we will not honor our refund policy and issue any refunds under any circumstance if more than 30 days have lapsed since the date the order was placed.
  • Hamper Me does our utmost to prevent breakage in transit by safely wrapping glass items in bubble wrap where possible and ensuring goods are safely packaged within each carton. Should your gift be damaged in transit please notify us and return your gift to Hamper Me immediately for inspection. Your gift may be covered by insurance and may be replaced at no cost.
